It's worth stopping by "A Wrinkle in Time" whenever you travel through Grants Pass to see what's new. Volunteer staffers are quick to offer complimentary cookies and coffee from an antique back bar that serves as the focal point for the shop.
Lovely oil paintings and ornate mirrors share wall space with clocks and sculptural wall hangings. The warmth of lamp light is visible from the sidewalk sitting on side tables flanking an antique settee. The large front room often houses the newest and finest consignments with more offbeat and affordable merchandise filling the back room to the brim.
Speaking of the backroom - at "A Wrinkle in Time," the backroom contains shelves of unexpected decorative accents, books and lighting. The middle area is chock-full of tables, chest-of-drawers, chairs and trunks. It's a veritable treasure hunt where the possibilities feel limitless.

When traveling through Southern Oregon a stop in Grants Pass is a must for treasure hunters. Taking the North Grants Pass exit off Interstate 5 will land you on Sixth Street which is a one-way thoroughfare through historic downtown Grants Pass.
A few miles down Sixth Street you'll see the grand Josephine County Courthouse on the right hand side of the street. Traveling one block further will land you at the corner of Sixth and D Streets with coffee houses on both right hand corners and "A Wrinkle in Time" one door south of the corner on the left hand side of Sixth Street.
Much of the front room is visible from the sidewalk, but getting inside and up close and personal with the volunteers and merchandise is a MUST. The back room is tucked away and invisible from the sidewalk, beckoning to bargain shoppers and treasure hunters alike.

"A Wrinkle in Time" is often the first stop for shoppers setting out on an "Adventures in Antiquing" expedition in southern Oregon.
